Skiing & Snow Shoeing Adventures

     As you follow the Echo Trail through the snow covered pines, spruce, balsam and birch you soon will arrive at Lodge of Whispering Pines where your winter adventure will begin.
     Plan to arrive at the lodge between 3:00 P.M. &  6:00 P.M. after getting settled in your cabin you may wish to enjoy a star lit walk, take a traditional wood fired sauna, before you retire to your comfortable north woods cabin to relax by your fireplace and  for a good night's rest.
     Enjoy a continental breakfast in the your cabin before you begin your day of skiing or snow shoeing on the many miles of trails that pass through this unique wilderness, along your route be on the lookout for wildlife both large and small as there will be good opportunities to see whitetail deer, moose, maybe catch a glimpse of a timber wolf, and the many other wild creatures that roam the woods. 
     After your day on the trails you will look forward to the traditional wood fired sauna waiting for you back at the lodge and before your dinner at one of Ely's finest restaurants.   
     After a good night's rest and before check out time ,  you may still have time to ski another trail or two before you head home with pleasant memories that you will remember for years to come.

     This trip includes 2 nights lodging,  meals, ski and snowshoe rentals, and use of all resort facilities: Package Price $369.00 Per Persons Based on  Double Occupancy .

     If you would like to experience the thrill of mushing your own team of well-trained and affectionate sled dogs add $225.00 per person for a full day, includes lunch on the trail.
