Resort Policies:
Cabin Rentals
- All pets must be leashed when outside on resort property.
- Children under 5 are our guests.
- A deposit of $500 per cabin, per week will be charged to your credit card. Extra guests are $20 per night, $100 per week.
- All cabin rates subject to 6.875% MN Sales Tax, .5% Local tax, and 3% Lodging tax.
- There are no hidden fees on our cabin rentals.
Campsite Rentals
- One tent or pop up camper per campsite. Four person maximum on campsite, depending on the site.
- Our campsites can accommodate Tents, Pop Up Campers, Pick Up Campers, Travel Trailers 20 ft or under, and small RVs under 25 feet. Sorry we cannot accommodate large Campers and RVs.
- Nightly Rate: $42.00 for 2 people and $7.00 charge for each additional person that stays on the campsite. Children under 5 are our guests.
2 night minimum stay on weekends. 50% deposit required. - Pets are $10.00 per Day - please see our Pet Policy FAQ.
- Holidays & Festivals: A stay of 3 nights minimum required for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Blueberry and Harvest Moon Festivals.
- Boats, Motors, Canoes, Kayaks, Pontoon Boat and Pedal Boats are available for rent.
- If you decide to bring your own boat there will be a $5.00 per day docking fee.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal. We sell DNR approved firewood at the resort.
Cancellation Policy
- We are a small resort; therefore, cancellations affect us significantly.
- If you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, provided we receive written notice 90 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded only if we are able to re-book your accommodations for the entire time you have reserved, less a 10% cancellation fee or to apply your deposit to a future stay within the current year.
- If you must cancel with less than 90 days' written notice, you will be financially responsible for the entire amount of your reserved accommodation.
- No refunds or adjustments for inclement weather or early departures.
Watercraft Info
- A Deposit of 50% is required at time of reservation for all Watercraft.
- First tank of gas is included with weekly boat and pontoon rental. Additional gas or gas mix must be purchased from Lodge of Whispering Pines.
- Only full week reservations for the pontoon boats will be taken in advance.
- Daily rentals available during the season on a first come, first served basis.
- Minnesota law requires life jackets: one life jacket per person must be on board always.
- Renters are financially responsible for any damage caused to motors or watercraft.
- Rates and availability of rentals subject to change without notice.
- To help provide better service, advance notification for boat and motor rental is encouraged.
Pet Policy
- Pets are permitted; a fee of $15.00/day or $75.00/week is charged per pet, with a maximum of 2 pets per cabin.
- All pets must be leashed when outside on resort property.
- Please clean up after your pet.
- You are responsible for any damages caused by your pet.
- Pets’ vaccinations must be up-to-date. All pets should be free of ticks and fleas.
